Vision

The new incorporated society has scope to expand both:

The sources of funding (foundations, sponsorships, donations, and other fund-raising activities as well as Auckland Council funding), and

The range of projects and activities we support, including:

• This website, launched in 2023, serving as an information resource on projects, events, venues and volunteer opportunities

• More accessible network meetings

• Recruitment of volunteers for projects and events new project ideas that involve the coordinated efforts of several local groups to achieve a common objective

• Acting as a umbrella organisation to seek grant funding for smaller unincorporated groups who are ineligible to apply directly for grants
