ShakeOut 2024 is coming up fast! Are you ready to drop, cover and hold with us?

New Zealand ShakeOut is our national Earthquake drill and tsunami hīkoi. It's a great opportunity for people all across the motu to learn how to keep ourselves and the people we care about safe by practicing the correct actions to take in an earthquake and tsunami.

This year ShakeOut is happening on Thursday 24 October, at 9:30am. You can sign up now as an individual, or you can sign up your family, school, workplace or community group at www.shakeout.govt.nz
