Matariki Kid's Event

  • St Heliers Community Centre 100 Saint Heliers Bay Road Auckland, Auckland, 1071 New Zealand (map)

An afternoon of fun arts and crafts for children to explore and celebrate Matariki, followed by Starlight Storytime where Pandora Hawke will share the stories of Matariki.

This will be followed by cookies and milo and waiata in the community lounge.

Matariki Kids’ Event:

  • 4-5.30pm - Matariki Crafts with the Re-creators, lantern making, Icing star cookies

  • 5.30 – 6 pm - Starlight Storytime (Pakiwaitara Rama Whetū)

  • 6-6.30 pm:
    - Cookies and milo
    - Waiata singalong
