Remuera

Ōrākei Basin is a park that includes a lagoon inside a volcanic crater, creeks, bush and a loop track of approximately four kilometres for walking, exercise and outdoor enjoyment. There is a sculpture by NZ artist Peter Nicholls and wooden benches dotted around the basin for quiet reflection. Dog walking is a common pastime, do note the on-lead/off-lead areas. The boat ramp at the main entrance on Ōrākei Road provides good access to the lagoon for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. The Auckland Water ski Club is based on the Ōrākei Basin and the Ōrākei Yacht Club sail model yachts here.

A huge open sports park catering for cricket and soccer. This park also features a playground, car parks, fitness equipment, picnic tables, seating, and a bike stand.

Wetland reserve, with walkways around three ponds.
The reserve has BBQs, park benches, a drinking fountain and picnic tables east of the ponds.

Starts at 49 Tephra Boulevard
The heritage trail is a circuit around the old quarry rock face, wetlands boardwalk and residential streets.
Three pou installations created and donated by Ngāti Paoa, Ngāi Tai Ki Tāmaki and Ngāti Te Ata appear along the trail.
This trail features, a playground, public artwork, drinking fountains and toilets.

The 13.6-hectare reserve is a peaceful pocket of native bush, dazzling with bird life during the day and serene with glow-worms in the gully near the main entrance at night.

Large, popular park and beach with a boardwalk along the waterfront.
Features a playground (eastern end), toilets at both ends of the beach, seating and picnic tables, barbecue and drinking fountains.
